Parent & Child Drop-in Programs
Drop in is a time to come out and enjoy playing with your children (0-6yrs) while socializing with other parents and caregivers in your community. A great opportunity to play, meet new friends and create a craft.
Everyone welcome…. no need to sign up – just drop in!
Winter, 2019 Schedule – Locations and Times:
Kids in Motion
Geared for children walking to 4yrs. (Ages 0-6 yrs are always welcome!)
Parents and their children engage in active play while developing gross motor skills. Participants enjoy rides on toys, balance beam, mini trampoline, large blocks, bean bag activities and more.
Read & Create!
This activity happens during our regularly scheduled Thursday Drop-in.
Reading books and making a craft or creating art that is linked to a story is a wonderful way to engage with young children. Crafts bring the story alive and the story adds meaning to the art!
Each Thursday morning, we will focus on a different story and create a craft to “bring the story to life”.
The Read & Create aspect of the morning is geared towards preschool age children but the drop in and all activities are open to the entire birth to 6 year range.
For babies birth to 18 months.
Each week provides an informal opportunity to chat with other parents experiencing the same challenges, fears and excitement as you are. Babies along with their parents will have the opportunity to explore, play, learn and discover.
This is a drop-in program. No preregistration required.
