We are looking to hire an Administrative Resource Assistant at Wilmot Family Resource Centre Inc.
The Administrative Resource Assistant is the first point of contact for support and inquiries from individuals and families who are served by the agency as well as donors, sponsors, and other community partners. The position will perform administrative and clerical tasks in a busy office environment.

New Children’s Program Coming to WFRC!
Starting on March 2nd
We have some special guests who will be joining Sandra & Bonnie at WFRC soon! Puppet pals Billy & Sam will help us explore a wide variety of books, interactive stories, create our own stories and sing songs. Children ages birth-6 are welcome to attend with a caring adult Tuesday’s at 10:30am.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a covid-safe, family-friendly walk to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness and hunger.
We walk in the cold and dark to support all those in our community who are being crushed by struggle, trauma, shame and loneliness. To them – and to the community that witnesses our trek in the dark – we declare together that “Everybody matters. Everybody belongs. And yes, we need each other.”
The Wilmot Family Resource Centre is proud to host Coldest Night of the Year 2021 in Wilmot area. Walk with us in support of our agency on February 20, 2021 to support individuals and families in our community who are walking through their own struggles.

Coldest Night of the Year Coming Soon!
The coldest night of the year is a fun, family-friendly national walk that helps raise funds for charities that serve hungry, homeless and hurting people in your community.
We walk in the cold and dark to support all those in our community who are being crushed by struggle, trauma, shame and loneliness. To them – and to the community that witnesses our trek in the dark – we declare together that “Everybody matters. Everybody belongs. And yes, we need each other.”
The Wilmot Family Resource Centre is proud to host Coldest Night of the Year 2021 in Wilmot area. Raise funds and walk with us on February 20, 2021 to support individuals and families in our community who are walking through their own struggles.
COVID-related health risks won’t permit us to assemble in large groups this year, so instead we will gather together safely, self-organizing individually or in smaller, COVID-friendly teams as permitted. You can select your own safe walk route near home at a time convenient for you.

Looking for Community Sponsors for Holiday Hamper Program in Wilmot & Wellesley
Are you looking for a way to help an individual or family in need this holiday season? The Wilmot Family Resource Centre’s Holiday Hamper program matches those in need with sponsors who generously provide a holiday hamper to them. You may sign up to purchase a grocery gift card and family gift package for the family OR you may make a financial donation and we will purchase and put together a hamper.
If you are a group or business looking to do a collection ‘drive‘ for particular items to be added to hampers, please consider collecting any of the following items:
- mittens/gloves for children and/or adults
- craft kits for all different ages
- paint by number sets for adults
- word search/crossword/puzzle books for teens/adults
- colouring books for children and adults
- crayon, pencil crayon, marker sets
- wrapping paper, gift bags, tape
- candy canes
