The coldest night of the year is a fun, family-friendly national walk that helps raise funds for charities that serve hungry, homeless and hurting people in your community.

We walk in the cold and dark to support all those in our community who are being crushed by struggle, trauma, shame and loneliness. To them – and to the community that witnesses our trek in the dark – we declare together that “Everybody matters. Everybody belongs. And yes, we need each other.”

The Wilmot Family Resource Centre is proud to host Coldest Night of the Year 2021 in Wilmot area. Raise funds and walk with us on February 20, 2021 to support individuals and families in our community who are walking through their own struggles.

COVID-related health risks won’t permit us to assemble in large groups this year, so instead we will gather together safely, self-organizing individually or in smaller, COVID-friendly teams as permitted. You can select your own safe walk route near home at a time convenient for you.

For more information about how you can get involved as a walker, a sponsor, or a volunteer email us: info@wilmotfamilyresourcecentre.ca or visit this link.

Everyone Matters. Everyone Belongs. Let’s make something better, Together.
